ORGANIZATIONAL SUMMARY:

The Office of Decision Support (ODS) facilitates leadership decision-making by providing data analysis, business solutions and reporting for USF and to coordinate academic planning, reporting and related needs for USF. ODS supports the University by ensuring competitive performance, compliance with regulations and policies, and institutional accreditation.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Academic Excellence Compliance Analyst is a valuable member within the Office of Decision Supports' Academic Planning and Operational Reporting team. The focus of the position is to support efforts to improve the excellence and innovation of USF's academic programs portfolio through integrated processes that include quality improvement, data collection, and curriculum research practices. This position also supports a broad range of ongoing activities that support the university's accreditation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Compliance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement:
Creates processes and procedures and analyze existing processes for continuous improvement.
Supports off-site instructional site compliance and online program reporting efforts.

Documentation and analysis:
Documents and analyzes data to produce reports for internal and external use, including reviewing peer institutions' curricula, programs, and accreditation items to enhance USF's academic programs portfolio.

Website Content Creation
Contributes to creation and maintenance of academic-related systems.
Writes pertinent website content

Facilitates Student Information (SIS) reports access

Supervises student employee(s)

Performs other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM:


Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of related experience.

FLSB1310 Equivalency:

4 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree.

6 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for master's degree.



PREFERRED:

Master's degree with one year of related experience.
